Al een poosje bewonder ik de kunstwerken van Gayle Mason, en dan voornamelijk haar katten met een beetje kleur. Zij tekent de gehele kat in grijstinten behalve de ogen. Nu heeft mijn kat VJ (Veejay) ook echt die mooie grijze kleur en opvallend groene ogen. Het is echter minder eenvoudig om haar te fotograferen. Maar het is me gelukt!! Dus kon ik het eindelijk eens uitproberen.

Hier mijn poging:

Grafiet, ogen met kleurpotlood en een likje acrylverf.

I'm admiring the artworks of Gayle Mason for a while now, in particular the cats with a splash of color. She draws the whole cat in greyscale exept for the eyes. My cat VJ (Veejay) has that lovely grey color and some prominent green eyes. But it insn't that easy to take a decent photo of her. But I did it, so I could finaly try this great technique!!
